Biography

Allan Christian Tyler (Chris) is a 30+ year veteran of the Information Technology industry with extensive experience in systems, networking, data center management, and Cyber Security. He led the operations of large multinational environments in Banking, Insurance, and Professional Services and participated in the startup of several companies including two banks. He is currently a partner in a small boutique risk management company that specializes in risk assessment, penetration testing, and IT forensics. Chris has recently worked on a team of CMMC assessors and performed audit remediations for a large DoD contractor.

Chris is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and has held many other industry certifications over the years. He has spent significant time in the IT Security and law enforcement communities, collaborating with local and national organizations, government agencies, and elected officials as a President and Board Member of InfraGard. Chris worked closely with the FBI, attended the InfraGard National Congress, and the FBI Citizens' Academy CREST program. He has spoken at InfraGard, ISSA, and ASIS events and taught for ISACA.

Chris is an avid Maker specializing in the Arduino chipset (when time permits) and guitar pedals, a musician, and a self-defense advocate holding ranks in multiple Martial Arts styles.
